Columbia College soccer defeats Harris-Stowe State in shutout

Columbia College soccer defeated Harris-Stowe State University 3-0 on Tuesday in St. Louis.

Cougars goalkeeper Matt McKenna recored his 11th shutout of the year. It was the team's 12th shutout.

The game was tied at nil until Dylan Barduzi scored on an assist from Andres Acosta in the 50th minute. Nikola Velickovic then scored on a corner kick from Barduzi, and Yudai Yamaguchi later scored on an assist from Dan Rapp.

The Cougars finish the regular season 15-2-1 and host the American Midwest Conference semifinal Nov. 8. They will play the winner of Park University and Missouri Baptist University, which play a quarterfinal game Saturday.
