FENTON — A police report offers details about how a 17-year-old girl working at a St. Louis-area haunted house ended up in noose.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department released a report Tuesday showing that the girl was working as an actress in a bathroom horror scene and apparently accidentally slipped off the tub. When she did, her neck became caught in the noose.

Another 17-year-old found the girl hanging from the noose, jumped into the tub to support her head, then cut down the rope and caught her as she fell.

The girl has been moved out of a hospital intensive care unit because her condition has improved.
