COLUMBIA — A man and a woman were arrested at a state park Tuesday afternoon after a sheriff's deputy saw them with some suspicious property.
Jennifer Renee Freeman, 31, and David Earl Woods, 42, were arrested at Finger Lakes State Park after an off-duty deputy spotted numerous items that had been reported stolen from Fabick CAT and Loveall RVs, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies recovered two stolen trucks, a camping trailer and a gooseneck trailer at the state park.
One of the trucks belonged to Crown Power and Equipment on Prathersville Road, but had not yet been reported stolen.
Deputies also recovered tools, vehicle tires, copper wiring and other items believed to be stolen.
Freeman, of 1613 Quail Drive, and Woods, who police said has no permanent address, were being held in the Boone County Jail. Bond is set at $54,500 for each.
Both face two charges of felony stealing and one count of second-degree burglary.
