COLUMBIA — The Missouri volleyball team will get an early look at a team from the Southeastern Conference next weekend.
On Sunday, the Tigers found out that they will play Florida (24-5), the 17th ranked team in the nation, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The game will take place Friday at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
“This is a great accomplishment for this group, especially considering how young we are,” Missouri head coach Wayne Kreklow said in a release. “It was a very long season this year and for this group to just continue to get better and get a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament is great for them. I am really looking forward to see how we respond next weekend.”
The Tigers finished regular season play with a 21-12 overall record and a 7-9 record in the Big 12 Conference.
