The Columbia College women's basketball team continued its road struggles with a 71-59 loss to Lyon College on Tuesday in Batesville, Ark.

It was the Cougars' third straight loss, dropping them to 7-3 this season.

Earlier this month, Columbia College beat the Scots 71-53 in Columbia, but on Tuesday the Cougars had 19 turnovers.

Cougars senior Arielle Eldridge scored 10 of her 11 points in the second half, but even a second-half surge couldn't stop the Scots.

The Cougars will take a week off before they travel to MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas on Dec. 6.
