The Columbia College men's basketball team lost 78-64 to Lyon College on Tuesday in Batesville, Ark.

Columbia College led 32-31 after the first half, but was outscored in the second half by the Scots, who avenged a 93-39 loss to the Cougars earlier this month in Columbia.

A clear difference was free throws. The Scots made 14 and the Cougars made seven.

Senior guard Henrique Medeiros led the Cougars with 14 points.

This weekend, Columbia College (6-3) travels to Fulton for the William Woods Invitational. The Cougars open play at 6 p.m. Friday against Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College.
