COLUMBIA — The UM System Board of Curators will hold another closed-door presidential search committee meeting Friday afternoon.

The meeting will be the sixth of its kind in the past six weeks.

The meeting will take place via teleconference. Curators will move to enter an executive session to discuss the presidential search, and, once again, there is no announcement scheduled for after the meeting.

UM System spokeswoman Jennifer Hollingshead confirmed Monday that curators have yet to pass along a list of finalists to the presidential search advisory committee.

The curators must present a list of finalists to be considered by the search advisory committee, which is made up of students, faculty and alumni representing all aspects of the UM System, before any endorsements of a candidate can be made.

Board Chairman Warren Erdman has said repeatedly throughout the search process that there is no set timeline to make a decision.
