Columbia College volleyball team advances to championship bracket at NAIA nationals

In the final day of pool play at the NAIA National Tournament, the Columbia College volleyball team beat Lewis-Clark State 26-24, 26-28, 25-19, 25-22 on Thursday in Sioux City, Iowa to advance to the tournament's championship bracket.

Paula Ferreira and Vesna Trivunovic led the Cougars with 11 kills a piece. Ferreira also had 44 assists.

The Cougars will find out who they play in the championship bracket after the conclusion of pool play Thursday night. Their first match in the championship bracket is set to begin at 10 a.m. Friday.
