Central Missouri Honor Flight to hold fundraiser

COLUMBIA — The Central Missouri Honor Flight will hold its annual Honor Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Holiday Inn Executive Center, 2200 I-70 Drive S.W.

The event, inspired by military balls, is a fundraiser held by the organization to raise money to send World War II and  *Korean War veterans to visit their respective war memorials in Washington, D.C.

The evening will include a tribute to veterans, a banquet meal, live entertainment and dancing, according to the organization's website.

Tickets cost $100 per person. VIP tickets, which include a private reception at 5:30 p.m., are $125 per person. Formal or semi-formal attire is expected.
