Columbia College volleyball team eliminated in NAIA national tournament

The Columbia College volleyball team lost to Concordia University 25-20, 25-21, 25-16 Saturday in the semifinals of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.

Junior Paula Ferreira, who has been making about 35 assists in each match of the tournament leading to the championship bracket, had just 22 assists in this match. Ferreira led the team in kills with nine.

The Cougars end the season at 39-4.
