Hickman boys basketball team wins at McDonald's Tournament

The Hickman boys basketball team advanced to the second round of the McDonald's Tournament after defeating Lincoln Prep 76-63 on Tuesday night at Blue Springs High School.
Freshman guard Jimmy Whitt led the Kewpies (2-1), scoring 23 points, while senior Da'Quan Dixon scored 13 and had seven rebounds. Other top performers were sophomore Chris Clark, who scored 11 points, and senior Andrew Berry, who added eight points. Senior forward Ernest Dorema had eight points and eight rebounds in the win.
Hickman continues play in the tournament at 8:30p.m. Thursday against the winner of the Blue Springs South vs. Park Hill game.
