Thursday, December 8, 2011 | 4:18 p.m. CST

COLUMBIA — Members of the Bethel Church congregation will present "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,"  at the church Dec. 18.

The performance starts at 3:30 p.m. and is free to attend.

Performers include some members of the church's children's ministry group, some members of the middle school and high school youth groups and a few adults, ministry assistant Madison Fagansaid.

A church flyer of Christmas events describes the play as, "a funny story of what happens when the neighborhood bullies take over the church's Christmas pageant."

"In the end, it does end up being the best Christmas pageant ever," Fagan said.
