Missouri's Flores earns Big 12 women's basketball honors

COLUMBIA — Missouri senior forward Christina Flores was named the Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Flores was an important part of the Tigers' victories against Eastern Illinois and North Dakota during the week of Dec. 5. She earned a triple-double against Eastern Illinois with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks. Flores then tied her career-high in points, with 29 later in the week against North Dakota.

The Tigers play next against Evansville at 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at Mizzou Arena.
