Columbia College basketball defeats Benedictine

ATCHISON, Kan. — The Columbia College men’s basketball team defeated Benedictine (Kan.) College on Friday 67-61.  The Cougars improved to 8-4 overall while Benedictine dropped to 5-6.

The Cougars return to action on Tuesday when they compete in the St. Xavier Midwest Tournament in Chicago. Columbia takes on Lourdes (Ohio) College at 2 p.m. to start the tournament.
