COLUMBIA — The city of Columbia announced that all city offices will be closed Dec. 26, following Christmas Day.

Residential refuse and curbside recycling will not be collected Monday. Instead, services will start Tuesday and end Saturday.

Columbia Sanitary Landfill will not be open for business, and parking meters will not be enforced throughout the day.

Both the police and fire departments' administrative offices will be closed, but all other emergency services will remain available to Columbia residents.

Columbia Transit will be in service from 6:25 a.m. until the last departure at 6:05 p.m. on Dec. 26, but it will operate in 80-minute cycles similar to Saturday service. The 105 South commuter route will not be in service.
