Columbia College men's basketball downs Lourdes

CHICAGO — The Columbia College Cougars men’s basketball team defeated Lourdes (Ohio) College, 75-65, in the first day of the St. Xavier Midwest Tournament. The win moves Columbia College to 9-5 on the season. The loss drops Lourdes to 6-9.

Jordan Dressler led the effort for the Cougars with 15 points and nine rebounds. Henrique Medeiros and Devin Griffin were also in double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively. 

Columbia College plays Wednesday in the second day of the St. Xavier Midwest Tournament when it takes on Aquinas (Mich.) College. The 2 p.m. game can be heard online at columbiacougars.com.
