Turnovers plagued the Columbia College women's basketball team in a 70-52 loss to Robert Morris on Thursday in Chicago.

The Cougars, ranked No. 23 in the NAIA, committed 30 turnovers and shot just 31 percent from the field against the Eagles, the NAIA's No. 21 ranked team.

Heather English and Airelle Eldridge led Columbia College (10-6) with 15 points apiece. Kirsti Wilkerson pulled down 11 rebounds while Eldridge had nine.

The Cougars are set to open American Midwest Conference play against Park University at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
