Lisbeth Kay Yasuda passed away January 16, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a courageous battle against the most difficult case of lymphoma, closing her brilliant life with grace and peace with GOD.

A celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church, Columbia, at 11am, Saturday, January 21, with a reception to follow.

Lisbeth was born November 30, 1987, in Rolla, Missouri, to Hirotsugu Koge Yasuda and Gerda Lisbeth Yasuda. She graduated from Hickman High School in 1998 and from MU in 2005.

Lisbeth's passion was music-violin and piano, which she was teaching to all ages. She was also a musician at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

For several years she worked at Dryer Shoe Store in Columbia because she loved shoes and serving people.

She is survived by her parents and by two brothers, Ken Eric Yasuda with wife Soyoun and Akira Yasuda and by other relatives in Sweden, Germany, Japan and Korea.

Instead of flowers, a donation to youth group activity fund at the First Baptist Church will be appreciated.
