Hickman girls basketball finishes second in Smith-Cotton Classic

The Hickman girls’ basketball team placed second at the Smith-Cotton Classic on Saturday in Sedalia.

Junior Cherish Walton and freshman Emily Miller both made the Smith-Cotton All Tournament Team after leading the Kewpies to a 55-39 victory over Smith-Cotton. Both players scored in the double digits in the final game of the tournament, Walton with 21 and Miller with 14. Hickman is now 16-3.

The Kewpies face rival Rock Bridge High School at 7:30 p.m Wednesday at Rock Bridge High School.
