COLUMBIA — After a chilly week, temperatures warmed up Sunday. Boys came out to Douglass Park on Sunday to enjoy the warmth — and a variety of activities from skateboarding to playing basketball. The weather is expected to stay mild this week, with high temperatures in the 40s and lows in 20s.

Taurean Kneedler, 9, and cousin Markees Blair, 13, practice skateboard tricks together at Douglass Park on Sunday afternoon. Taurean has been skating for four years and Markees has been skating for six months.
