COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge boys basketball team defeated Lincoln Prep 74-57 Tuesday night in Kansas City.
Sophomore point guard Nick Norton led the Bruins with 14 points. Seniors Jordan Stevens (13 points) and Will Echelmeier (12) also scored in double figures. Junior Travis Jorgenson scored 11 points in his third game back after sitting out for over a month with an injured thumb.
Rock Bridge assistant coach Quentin Mitchell said the Bruins played harder than when they lost at home to Raytown South High School five days ago.
"We played well," Mitchell said. "We rebounded much better and moved the ball. It was a pretty good effort all around."
The Bruins (18-4) play next at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home against Hogan Prep Charter High School.
