COLUMBIA – When Columbia awoke this morning to a frosty landscape, some people jumped on the chance to capture photos of their town dusted in white.

Here are some of the pictures that were shared on Facebook and Twitter throughout the day. The photographers were kind enough to give us permission to publish them.

This story is part of a section of the Missourian called From Readers, which is dedicated to your voices and your stories. We hope you'll consider sharing. Here's how.

Do you have pictures of this week's snow? We'd love to add them to this gallery. Send them to, and include your name and where the photos were taken.
