New University of Missouri System President Timothy Wolfe released his first official video address this morning, his first in his new position.

In his speech, Wolfe talked about what he has learned about the university system since his appointment in December.

"Quite honestly, I'm stunned by the magnitude of what our university does and awed by the people leading these efforts," Wolfe said.

He also said he has seen "just a snapshot" of UM System research, service and economic development programs but is aware of the benefits these programs have around the state "in every county every single day."
