KANSAS CITY — A photo exhibit honoring Missouri service members killed in Afghanistan and Iraq is on display through Friday at Kansas City International Airport's Terminal C.

The exhibit, called "Remembering Our Fallen," has been traveling throughout the state since it was unveiled to the families of the deceased soldiers in July.

The American Legion of Missouri and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Missouri have endorsed the project because of the importance of remembering those who have lost their lives in the war on terror.

The exhibit is sponsored by Bellevue University in Nebraska. Retired Air Force Col. James Biernesser, the school's director of military programs, said the exhibit was created in a way that it can travel easily throughout Missouri.
