"how to properly brush my teeth and how the spinal cord works and a new activity jump rope for hart"

On Feb. 23, students and parents from Shepard Boulevard Elementary School spent the evening learning habits for a healthy lifestyle from businesses and organizations such as Hy-Vee, Columbia Farmers' Market and Columbia Children's Dentistry. Some students wrote down what they learned from the event. Here are some samples.

"I learned today that you should take your vitamins to stay healthy."
"I learned that the chickens like apples."
"That going to the dentist is very important and to brush teeth two times a day" This response was written down by Deacon's mother.
"I learn that metal can to a magnet."
