The Missouri baseball team lost 3-1 in the second game of its three-game series Saturday at the University of San Francisco.
San Francisco held the Tigers to only six hits and kept them scoreless until the eighth inning when Blake Brown's RBI groundout scored Andreas Plackis, who had doubled to lead off the frame.
Starting pitcher Rob Zastryzny suffered his first of the season, letting up three runs on six hits, striking out five and walking one. Tigers freshman reliever John Miles pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit but striking out four.
The third game of the series is set for 3 p.m. Sunday.
