COLUMBIA — A man who was arrested Friday admitted his involvement in four robberies, police said.
Donald D. Clark Jr., 49, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. in the area of Old 63 and Ammonette Street for his suspected involvement, before confessing later that day, according to a press release from the Columbia Police Department.
Police collected enough evidence at the crime scenes to link the robberies back to Clark, according to the release. He is being charged with four counts of robbery in the first degree and four counts of armed criminal action.
Police said Clark confessed that he was involved in the following robberies:
- Monday, Feb. 20: Robbery at the Break Time Convenience Store at 301 Nebraska Ave.

- Thursday, Feb. 23: Robbery at the Landmark Bank at 10 N. Garth Ave.
- Friday, Feb. 24: Robbery at the Boone County National Bank at 1916 Paris Road.
As of Sunday evening, Clark's bond was set at $250,000, according to the Boone County Sheriff Department's website.
