Helen Morgan Johnson, Nov. 30, 1932 — March 2, 2012, of Columbia

COLUMBIA — Helen Morgan Johnson, 79, of Columbia passed away March 2, 2012.

She was born on Nov. 30, 1932, in Shelbina to Mary Lillian (Fowler) and Delbert Alton Wyatt. Helen graduated from Blessing Hospital School of nursing in 1953 and worked at University of Missouri Hospital for 30 years.

She was a member of Oakland Christian Church. Helen married Ernest Morgan Jr. in 1953, and he preceded her in death in 1983. She later married Richard Johnson in 1995, and he preceded her in death in 2008.

Helen is survived by three daughters: Linda Faler (David) of Quincy, Ill., Laura Fuller (Dave) of Columbia, and Cindy LeBaube (Derek Gibbons) of Mexico, Mo.; three step-children: Carla Johnson (Steve) of Columbia, Wayne Johnson (Christy) of Jefferson City, and Kay Wilson (Rick) of Phoenix; six grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and neighbors from Cambridge Place.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
