Missouri gymnastics places third at Winter Invitational

The Missouri gymnastics team took third place at the Winter Invitational, and senior Mary Burke won her fifth all-around title of the season on Saturday.

Burke's best routine was the bars, where she tied for the top score (9.875).

Freshman Rachel Updike won the vault with a 9.950.

West Virginia took first at the meet (194.175) followed by host Denver (194.100). The Tigers, led by Burke, scored a 194.025.

The Tigers next meet is on Friday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
