COLUMBIA — Q Queens at the True/False Film Fest help keep people in line and pass out numbers to those waiting to get tickets for films. The Q is a line for patrons of the festival to get tickets to movies.
Q Queen Lauralee Sparling passes out numbers to festival goers hoping to get a ticket to 'Undefeated' on Sunday at Jesse Auditorium. The film won an Academy Award for best documentary feature this year and was directed by MU alumnus Dan Lindsay. The 'Q' is a line for patrons of the True/False Film Fest to get tickets to movies.
Q Queen Andrea Kanevsky explains the process of the 'Q' to attendees Sunday at the The Globe Theater at First Presbyterian Church. Kanevsky has volunteered to be a Q Queen for the True/False Film Fest for the past two years.
