I support Barbara Hoppe for re-election. I do so because she has an outstanding record of working for a strong, healthy and sustainable economy, community and environment. Her council tenure has been highlighted by her foresight, service and success.
Barbara works tirelessly on behalf of genuine progress in our community. She sees the whole picture, yet pays attention to detail and accomplishes results. She listens to residents' concerns and finds real solutions.

Ms. Hoppe is thoughtful and well-reasoned with a proven record of service to residents of the Sixth Ward and to Columbia. We need Barbara re-elected to Columbia City Council!

Really? Finds solutions?
Paraphrased from another story Regarding the confidential negotiations with the Beta Theta Pi fraternity Miss Hoppe introduces a motion to shut down construction. Then she is involved in a negotiation and $100,000 gets extorted from the Fraternity. Then most folks involved sign paper pledging never to discuss this in public. Understand why they did that.
HoppeGate. The $100,000 is bad enough but the cover up is going to really make folks mad.
Give it a rest. Tillison first has his wife encourage people to cheat on an online poll, then apparently now his rubes fan a flame that doesn't exist. Even Van Matre (the "opposing" attorney) was quoted in saying she just had an advisory roll and didn't act improperly. BTW how much did Hoppe receive out of that $100,000.....................wait for it.....................Zero!
The Chamberites are desperate.
