COLUMBIA — After ending practice an hour early Tuesday because of wet weather, the Hickman baseball team's season opener Wednesday against St. Charles has been rained out.

Hickman coach Dan Devine said the game has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. on May 8 at Hickman.

The Kewpies are now set to start their season at 5 p.m. Thursday in a home game against Southern Boone.
