Two Missouri gymnasts named to All-Big 12 Conference Team

COLUMBIA — Missouri gymnasts Mary Burke and Rachel Updike were named to the All-Big 12 Conference Gymnastics Team on Wednesday. They were among five Big 12 athletes who claimed honors in multiple events.

Burke, a senior who was named Big 12 Gymnast of the Week three times this season, earned honors in the all-around and uneven parallel bars.

VAULT: Sara Stone (Oklahoma), Brie Olson (Oklahoma), Rachel Updike (Missouri)                   

UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS: Megan Ferguson (Oklahoma), Brie Olson (Oklahoma), Mary Burke (Missouri)

BALANCE BEAM: Megan Ferguson (Oklahoma), Taylor Spears (Oklahoma), Sara Stone (Oklahoma)                   

FLOOR EXERCISE: Megan Ferguson (Oklahoma), Rachel Updike (Missouri), Sara Stone (Oklahoma)

ALL-AROUND: Mary Burke (Missouri), Michelle Browning (Iowa State)
