Motorcyclist injured in late-night crash on Highway 63

COLUMBIA — Police responded to a motorcycle crash at 11:53 p.m. Thursday on Highway 63 near Grindstone Parkway, according to an accident report from the Columbia Police Department.

A 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 63, where it collided with a 2005 Ford Taurus traveling south, the report stated.

The motorcyclist, Larry Reberry, 60, was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries. He was in critical condition as of Friday morning.

The driver of the Ford Taurus, Heather Cone, was not injured in the crash. She had been wearing a seatbelt, the report said.

It is unknown why Reberry was traveling in the wrong lane.
