LETTER TO THE EDITOR: We can't often brag about our elected officials

Monday, March 26, 2012 | 6:00 a.m. CDT

We need to re-elect Barbara Hoppe. She has proven her honesty, dedication and hard work on the City Council. How often these days does a citizen get to brag about the intelligence, diligence and balanced approach of an office holder? Well, not often enough! We need to retain this practiced, reasoned and motivated public servant. Join me in thanking Barbara Hoppe for her accomplishments and voting to retain her on the council on April 3.

Kurt Albert is a Columbia resident.
