Tolton Catholic does well at track meet

COLUMBIA — The Father Tolton Catholic boys and girls track and field teams earned several top finishes at a four-team meet Tuesday at Macon.

Freshman Chase Freidel won the girls 400 meters (1:03.5) and long jump (15-7) and was second in the 200 meters (:27.0). Andrea Wikle won the 800 meters in 2:52.0, and teammate Kristen Schepker was second in 3:02. Laura Richardson placed second in the 100 meters in 14.0.

Caleb Lucero led the Tolton boys team, winning the 400 meters (59.14) and placing second in the triple jump at 35 feet. Ryan Chappell was second in the 400 meters at 59.36 and Dayton Hannes was second in the long jump at 13-8.
