Anthony Luciano, 74, of Columbia, MO passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his home. Funeral Services be 11AM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Nilson Funeral Home, with visitation from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.

Anthony was born January 2, 1938 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Angelina Luciano. He married Magdalena Knaup on December 7, 1959 in Germany. He retired from the US Army and Air Force after 26 years of service. Over that time he served all over the world, including Africa, England, and Germany. He served during the Vietnam era and worked with Communications as a field engineer. He was a true people-person and enjoyed a good joke. Anthony worked at H&R Block for 8 years; he golfed, was a bowler and enjoyed motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife Magdalena; son Anthony G. Luciano and wife Lorraine of Australia; daughter Rachel Luciano-Allen and husband Marlin of Columbia; brother David Luciano of Pennsylvania; and sister Sylvia Luciano of Indianapolis; Karen and Chuck Neal, grandchildren; Anthony, Holly, Bryant, Matthew, April, Robert, Brain, Marquis, P.J., Giselle, and Gianna, and five Great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Luciano; his father and mother; brother Daniel Luciano; and sisters Dolly, Joan and Mary.
