Hickman varsity hustled and tied against Springfield in the second half, but were defeated 14-11 in the final quarter.
David Nittler had 5 goals and 1 assist, John Gilmore had 3 goals and 2 assists. Seth Livingston, Powell Yaeger and Connor Harris had one goal each. In goal, John Chester had 6 saves and Aaron Hentges added another 4.
In the JV game, Hickman stayed behind Springfield 2-1. Patrick Graf scored the goal with an assist from Seth Livingston. John Chester had 6 saves.
Hickman plays again this Saturday at Fox High School and at home this Sunday, April 15, at 10 a.m. against Parkway South. Home games will be played at Hickman High Stadium; concessions will be available.
