Trisha Han went on a cruise to the Bahamas over spring break.

Trisha Han is an MU business major. She enjoys traveling, and she has traveled to 17 countries. She is planning to take art classes in Italy this summer. During spring break, she went on a cruise trip to the Bahamas, and she shared this account of her trip with the Missourian.

I went on a cruise trip to the Bahamas, which is made up of hundreds of islands in Caribbean Sea. I departed from Port of Miami to head for Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. The memorable thing for me was the skies in the Bahamas. On my cruise to the Bahamas, I went up to the deck on the ship at night to get some fresh air and saw the sky full of stars. This experience was one that I did not have in a big city.

Nassau consists of lowland, as most areas of the Bahamas do, and its tropical climate and nature attract tourists. In Nassau, I took many pictures in places where the landscape was beautiful. Nassau was a good place to relax and enjoy, and the weather was very moderate. I had a good time in Nassau.

I also visited Coco Cay Island in the Bahamas. The cobalt blue Caribbean Sea was spread out in my eyes.

This story is part of a section of the Missourian called From Readers, which is dedicated to your voices and your stories. We hope you'll consider sharing. Here's how.
