Jerry L. Case, 63, of Columbia passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jerry was born February 12, 1949, in Kirksville to John F. and Leora (Eitel) Case. He married Sharyn Fry on May 12, 1990, in Columbia. Jerry has a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in public health administration. Jerry was an avid fly fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He learned the art of fly tying as a child and it became a passionate hobby. He loved history and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed making investments and owned several pieces of income property. He drew house blueprints for his own home as well as others. Jerry excelled at being kind, honest and loving. He was loved by everyone who ever met him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharyn; his mother, Leora Case of Columbia and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, John.
