Missouri cheerleaders fourth at national championship

Missouri's cheerleading squad placed fourth in the Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship competition last weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The team was eliminated after placing eighth in preliminary rounds of the regular competition, but advanced to the final five teams by winning the Challenge Cup.

Missouri finished fourth overall in the Small Coed 1A division with a score of 9.333.

Missouri placed behind Oklahoma State, North Carolina State and Georgia.
