The Missouri softball team lost 2-1 to No. 5 Oklahoma on Sunday, giving the Sooners a 2-1 victory in the weekend series in Norman, Okla.

Mackenzie Sykes' RBI single in the third inning pulled the Tigers within a run, but they could get no closer, stranding base runners in both the fourth and fifth innings.

Sykes led the offense, going 2-for-4 with the lone RBI. Nicole Hudson and Angela Randazzo provided the other two hits for the Tigers, with Hudson hitting a double in the second inning.

Missouri pitcher Chelsea Thomas fell to 18-7 with the loss, striking out four and walking two over six innings.
