FROM READERS: Hickman varsity lacrosse wins over Parkway Central

April 23, 2012 | 7:00 p.m. CDT

Ann Fieser is the Communications Chair for the Hickman Lacrosse Club. 

Hickman varsity out hustled Parkway Central in Saturday's home game, winning 14-13. In the nail-biting match, David Nittler contributed seven goals and one assist, John Gilmore had four goals and Connor Harris added three goals and two assists. Goalie Aaron Hentges had 11 saves.

In the junior varsity game, Hickman stayed behind Parkway Central 9-4. Aspen Kayson, Seth Livingston, Daniel Veros, and Logan Galloway each scored a goal. Goalie John Chester had 11 saves.

During Sunday's home game, Hickman varsity lost to Hazelwood 15-1. David Nittler scored the goal while goalie Aaron Hentges had 18 saves. The JV team stayed behind at 5-1. Daniel Veros scored the goal with an assist from Brenden Bremer. Goalie John Chester had 17 saves.

The team travels to St. Louis for games Saturday against Lindbergh and John Burroughs School. The team will be back on home turf at 11 a.m. Sunday's for a game against Webster Groves.
