Hickman wins at Fatima after big fifth inning

The Hickman baseball team won Monday at Fatima, 15-6.

The Kewpies scored seven runs with two outs in the fifth inning to break a 5-5 tie. Garrett Dishinger got the win, throwing four innings and giving up one run with four strikeouts. Dishinger also homered in the seven-run fifth. The Kewpies had six home runs.

Jake Alexander was 2-4 with a home run, Jake Cowan was 3-4 with a home run, Cody Gordon was 2-3 with a home run and Colby Fitch was 4-4 with two home runs and seven RBIs.

Hickman (9-6) next plays on Wednesday at Sedalia.
