Ryan Lee Lewis, December 11, 1977 — April 22, 2012, of Ashland

Ryan Lee Lewis, 34, of Ashland, MO left this world too soon on April 22, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.

Ryan was born Dec. 11, 1977, to Raymond L. and Rosemary Buckner Lewis. In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his four children- Savannah Koren, age 10, Rayden Lee, age 6, Raylea Nichole, age 5 and McKinley Jo, age 2.  He is also survived by his fiancée and the love of his life, Amy Beth Lee; sister Rose Marie Lewis-Cole and husband, Terry; sister Raymona Lee Buddemeyer and husband, Karl; and brother Jeremy Michael Traxler.   

Ryan was very close to his family and his nieces and nephews — Amanda, Ateja and Cody Sapp and Skyler Crane; Ian, Aiden, Rowan and Lachlan Buddemeyer; and Malina Traxler. He was also the most wonderful great uncle to Kyleja Nichols, Jaidynn Cole and Kaydance Sapp Begemann. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan will be remembered for his easy, open smile and the ability to make anyone laugh. He had an intense love for his children and remarkable loyalty to his family and friends. He was a hard worker and loved his job and co-workers at the Conley Road Hy-Vee in Columbia, where he was the frozen food manager. Ryan was raised in Southern Boone County and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and the river.

Everyone who knew Ryan is invited to a celebration of his life April 28 at 3 p.m. at 5000 East Liberty Lane in Ashland.
