Missouri baseball loses to Texas Tech

The Missouri baseball team lost 4-3 to Texas Tech on Saturday in Lubbock, Texas, ending a five-game winning streak.

Starter Blake Holovach allowed four runs on five hits in less than two innings of work.  Senior Jeff Emens threw 61/3 innings in relief, allowing no runs while striking out four and allowing five hits.

The Tigers couldn't come back from the early deficit, tacking on two runs in the fourth and one in the sixth.

Missouri (23-18, 7-10) plays the last of a three game series against Texas Tech at 1 p.m. Sunday.
