Wilson leads Missouri men's golfers at Big 12 tournament

Hickman graduate Nick Wilson led the Missouri men's golf team at the Big 12 Conference tournament, finishing 11th in the individual standings, with a four-round total of 296 that included a 72 on Sunday over the final 18 holes.

Texas A&M won the team competition with a four-round 1,165 at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.

Texas (1,168) was second, and Texas Tech (1,183) was third.

Missouri placed eighth at the 10-team event at 1,209, five strokes behind seventh-place Iowa State.

Missouri's Jace Long and Ryan Zech both shot 303 to tie for 24th in the individual standings. Emilio Cuartero tied for 33rd at 307, and Adam Rosenthal was 49th at 329.
