Hickman baseball defeats Rolla 9-1

The Hickman baseball team routed Rolla on Monday by a score of 9-1.

Jake Alexander led the offense, going 3-for-5 at the plate with three runs scored. Carter Buresh, Jake Cowan, Cody Gordon and Adam Kopriva chipped in with two hits each.

Hickman starting pitcher Andy Roseman struck out three batters over five innings while allowing one run.

The road win brings Hickman to 12-6 on the season. The Kewpies will return home to face Liberty at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
