Tolton Catholic sends three track athletes to sectionals

Three students from Father Tolton Catholic High School qualified for sectional competition after placing in the Class 1, District 1 tournament at the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton on Saturday.

Chase Freidel won the long jump (16 feet), placed second in the 400 meters (1:02.37) and earned fourth in the 200 meters (27.96).

Caleb Lucero placed third in the triple jump (38-4). Ryan Chappell placed third in the long jump (18-3 1/4). 

The sectional is set for next Saturday at Centralia High School.
