KINGDOM CITY — Boster Castle, known for its 2011 Pirate Festival, decided to invoke a different era with a Wild West Fest this past Friday until Sunday. The Boster Castle Fairgrounds, near Kingdom City, were transformed into a western-style fort, featuring costumed performers, staged shootouts, Texas Hold’em games, arts and crafts, and old west style food and drinks. It was the first of several festivals that will occur this summer at Boster Castle, with the next one being the Fantasy Fair from June 15 to 17.
